|If you work with PsyToolkit, it is best to use the newest browser you can get for your operating system. PsyToolkit recommends the Firefox or Google Chrome browser.|
When you download a zip file for uploading in your PsyToolkit account, make sure you download the zip file as it is. Make sure you do not decompress it. Some web browsers do this automatically, in particular the Mac Safari browser.
Here is what you need to do when you use Mac Safari
Open the Preferences menu:
In Mac OS X: Click Safari > Preferences
In Windows: Click Edit or Settings (Image) > Preferences
In the window that opens, click General
Remove the check from the box beside "Open 'safe' files after downloading"
Download the file again
Here is what you need to do if you use Firefox
Option 1: In Firefox, you can right-click the zip-file link (if you have a right mouse button). It will say, "save link as".
Select the preferences (in the menu)
File "Zip archive" and select "Save File" or "Always ask"
Here is what you need to do if you use Google Chrome
Google Chrome saves zip files as zip file by default. If not, you can right-click the zip-file link (if you have a right mouse button). It will say, "save link as".
Here is what you need to do if you use Internet Explorer
Click the hyperlink and then click "Save this file to disk". You can also rightclick the link.
