About this survey
We are conducting a piece of research into personality type and choice of surgical specialty.
This is a short questionnaire consisting of a few introductory questions about your gender, career stage, location and specialty, followed by a series of short questions designed to evaluate your personality using the Five Factor model.
The questionnaire should take no more than five minutes to complete, and we will not ask you for any personal identifying information.
If you choose to enter our prize draw to win £50 in Amazon vouchers, we will enter your email address into a pool and a winner will be randomly selected by 7 April 2017. We will not store any email addresses after this date and we will not use your email address for any other purpose.
When you have finished the questionnaire, you will be shown your scores in each category. The five factors have been defined as openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, often listed under the acronyms OCEAN or CANOE.
