About this survey
My name is Dr. Jamal K. Mansour and I am a senior lecturer in Psychology at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. The purpose of this research is to understand legal attitudes.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this study as long as they can see a standard computer screen; it is ok if you need glasses or another aid to help you do so, though.
If you agree to participate in the study, you will be asked to complete two questionnaires. The researcher is not aware of any risks associated with answering these questions and no personally-identifying information will be collected. The only personal information requested will be demographic (age, sex, ethnicity, current country)—which you do not have to provide if you do not want to—and your name and signature on the consent form. The consent form will be kept separate from the demographic information and the other data collected in the study, therefore it will be impossible for you to be identified in any reporting of the data gathered.
The whole procedure should take no longer than 30 minutes. You are free to withdraw from the study at any stage and you do not have to give a reason. The results may be published and/or presented in academic settings (such as conferences or classes).
