ARE YOU AUTOTELIC ?

This test measures how much of an Autotelic personality you have. It has 22 questions and it takes less than 5 minutes.

IMPORTANT: Before you start, please read the definition of 'Flow': you are in Flow (or in 'the Zone') when you are fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment of an activity (basketball game, video game, computer project...) You are completely absorbed by what you do and you lose sense of space, time, and your surroundings.

This test is an ongoing project and has little or no scientific validation, although a Principal Component Analysis on a large sample has confirmed that the scoring scale is highly correlated to the first factor of the PCA, and that all questions scores are positively correlated to the first factor. Still, do it only for fun. It is loosely based on the works of Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
