PsyToolkit is a set of tools that help you to do the following:
- Run cognitive psychological experiments on a computer. PsyToolkit
comes with many examples, for example stimulus-response
compatibility, visual search, Fitt's law, and more.
- Use this web site to demonstrate and teach about psychological
experiments. Lessons can be used for free, and have "runnable"
demonstrations with simple explanations and links for further reading.
- Program your own psychological experiments (this requires some
training and experience, but all documentation is on the web site).
- You can program experiments from within the website, and even run
them from within the website.
- Alternatively, you can install
the Linux Desktop
version. This option is for professionals working in a
psychological/cognitive laboratories. When using Linux, your
experiments will run with higher timing precision necessary for
certain types of experiments. Further, special hardware, such a
Cedrus keyboards or digital IO cards, is
supported. Read
